Questions, answered
Does my work leave my computer?+
No. Culling, grading, style learning and semantic search all run on-device by default. You can optionally connect a cloud vision model, but nothing is required to leave your machine.
How does LightVision grade my photos?+
Every frame is scored 0–100 on seven dimensions — clarity, focus, open eyes, warmth of emotion, composition, energetic moment and exposure — which combine into an overall score and a Pick / Alternate / Review recommendation. It is structured scoring you can inspect, not a black box.
Will the edits actually look like mine?+
LightVision reads your real develop settings (exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity, vibrance, saturation, temperature, tint) from your finished work and builds a per-shoot-type profile, then applies a matched first-pass edit to new imports. It is a head start in your style — you stay in control of the final look.
What about faces and group shots?+
Face AI detects faces and eye-openness, clusters the same person across the whole shoot, can restore and retouch portraits, and uses person awareness so different people are never merged as duplicates.
Can I sell prints?+
Yes. On the Studio plan you can publish client galleries and enable a print store powered by Prodigi fulfilment, with favorites and email-gated downloads built in.
What do I need to run it?+
A modern Mac with Apple Silicon is recommended for the on-device AI. Models download on first use; after that, imports run locally.
